Patty’s site needed to project a sense of mystery and incite the visitor’s curiosity, and also to reassure the visitor that they could buy the DVDs easily and securely.
We aimed to project a professional and creative brand image suitable for a media and film company by making the site as visually stylish and attractive as possible, full of rich content such as audio, video and photo galleries.
The logo was simplified to emphasise the boldness of the design that incorporated crop circle textures with layers of shadows contrasted with optimistic blue skies. Navigation was made as logical and obvious as possible and the shop was kept simple and clear with inviting text and illustrations to keep the visitor on the page.
Above all, it was important that the site was designed in such a way that the owner could learn how to edit it easily, and be in control of the content whilst maintaining a style consistent with the overall design.
WordPress appeared to be the best CMS option for this site, since people can learn how to use it in minutes.
