Ujima Radio FM is a popular community radio station serving St Pauls and central Bristol playing a broad range of urban, dance, roots and soul music, with live Talk shows. Despite running on a tiny budget with a staff of volunteers, Ujima Radio has scooped some big name interviews and created some high profile events over the years. It serves a very valuable focal point for issues concerning the local community. The aim of the website was to connect in as many ways as possible to the listening community.
Users visiting the site are encouraged to interact with the DJs using the live chat box and by leaving comments on the presenters’ pages.
