Croft History Walk \u2013 Location 2: Mickleburghs"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Mickleburghs<\/h4>\n<p>The Mickleburgh family began in the piano maintenance business\u00a0 in the 1870s, and the piano shop was first opened in Stokes Croft in 1903.\u00a0 In the Bristol Blitz of 1942 it was destroyed.\u00a0The building that stands today opened in 1957.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery and School, built in 1772 next to the existing almshouse. Both were destroyed in the Blitz.
